Eolia Mansion is the perfect location for your engagement session. Obviously, the stunning beauty of the English gardens is the perfect backdrop for a romantic session. It is elegant and classic, refined and sophisticated. Clearly, it’s not too soft, not too feminine, yet it is chic at the same time. The best part? Eolia Mansion not only gave a beautiful backdrop to their photos, but also gave Lauren and Timothy a beautiful place to actually enjoy their session.

We wanted to capture a sweet, summer ease with this set of images. The couple wanted their images to feel radiant and beautiful. This session was a stunning celebration of their love, and a testament to the magic that is captured in the perfect location with the perfect lighting. Therefore, we kept the posing simple and soft with a touch of refinement.
Lauren and Timothy made their way to the beach just as the sun began to set. There, they were greeted with cotton candy skies. We captured that never-ending summer feeling and danced a bit in the sand. This created beautiful and intimate moments on camera. My favorite part is the color and tones. Fuji400 on the Contax 645 gave the creamiest, dreamiest color and tone to their images.
The Results
Eolia Mansion at Harkness Memorial Park has the most stunning scenery, and this engagement session is a testament to its beauty. Visiting the Park
When you arrive to Eolia Mansion, you’ll drive down a long driveway with tall grass and marsh lands on each side. This main road leads you to the parking lot. As you drive in, Connecticut license plates are no charge, however, out of state plates must pay a fee at the attendant booth. You may find parking anywhere within the main lot. If there is a wedding that evening, the left side of the parking lot will be reserved and off limits. Bathrooms are in the main building to your right, and the path to the Mansion is to your left.
