When you think of New York City, you think gracious occasions, savoir-faire, good food, uptown fun. And Mary-Brigid and Michael’s Loeb Boathouse wedding in Central Park New York City was exactly that. A modern black and white wedding at its finest in the heart of the most sophisticated, classy city on the planet. There’s nothing like New York and Mary-Brigid and Michael embodied all of its spirit in their beautiful Loeb Boathouse wedding.
The Day
The day started at Lotte New York Palace on the 45th floor. The wedding party got ready alongside champagne and brunch. Then, we headed to Bow Bridge at Central Park for first look. Mike was waiting ever patiently for Mary-Brigid. Everyone on the bridge clapped as they saw each other for the first time as bride and groom.
After, portraits in the park with family and their wedding party we headed to church for their ceremony at Saint Ferrer. Immediately after the ceremony we hurried through the streets of Manhattan in true New York style to head back to Central Park. We then gathered with the wedding party to pop champagne at Bethesda Terrace.
Mary-Brigid and Michael’s gondola arrived not soon after to escort them in romantic style to cocktail hour. Meanwhile, their guests awaited their arrival at the Loeb Boathouse where an evening of dinner, dancing, and revelling carried through the night.
It was an honor to capture these images for Mary-Brigid and Michael. They capture the fun and classy spirit of New York City. The design elements, the energy of the couple, the energy of the city, all came together for a remarkable day for this Loeb Boathouse Wedding. Enjoy and let it guide your inspiration for your incredible celebration!
