For Katie and Sam, it was clear that a pre-wedding shoot in their neighborhood in the West Village was in order. “Our vision was to capture the essence of our life together in the West Village. We merged our lives here and wanted to encapsulate the romance, fun, and excitement of moving in together in this historic area.”
We started their West Village engagement photos in their apartment: a pre-war, original 19th century walk up with tons of character and history. It was important to capture both the bond between Katie and Sam but also the energy and connection to the place they live. A love letter to the West Village, these photos beautifully intertwine their personal love story with the rich, storied backdrop of their beloved neighborhood.
