This Vizcaya Museum and Gardens Wedding inspiration will leave you breathless. The structured elegance is both refined and romantic at the same time. The beauty and secrets of Vizcaya Museum and Gardens leave us raptured in her history, elegance, and romance during this impeccably styled editorial by Janna Brown. The century-old gardens of Vizcaya with the unparalleled Spanish-inspired villa provided the backdrop for our vision as we captured the old-world design drawing inspiration from the weathered textures and remarkable architecture of this utterly breathtaking marvel. I saught a confident, bold approach for a love as enduring as the grounds themselves. With both an elopement couple and a wedding couple, their power together matches the Gilded Age architecture with strong posing, structured lines, and just a touch of softness in the florals to remind us that in structure there is elegance. This shoot will leave you both captivated and inspired.
I photographed this Vizcaya Museum and Gardens Wedding on beautiful Fuji film. The colors would be just perfect for the soft blush tones and the blue in Steven’s suit. I directed the couple for strategic posing in incredible light to highlight the glowing feel of the gardens. And as you can see, it paid off.
We wandered from location to location within the gardens, uncovering all the little secret corners of the area and ending finally by the water near the barge. You’ll find a quiet elegance to these photos and a stately romance.
