And Sarah and James embodied it effortlessly during their tropical urban rehearsal dinner at Relato in El Poblado. I’ve had the privilege of documenting countless love stories unfold against a backdrop of breathtaking landscapes and picturesque venues. However, this one left an indelible mark on my heart and lens.
The Setting- A Rehearsal Dinner in Colombia
Colombian style is notably chic. The style in Medellín often incorporates bold colors and patterns. However, the thing that I love most is how city’s dynamic energy influences its style. You’ll find elements of streetwear and urban fashion, with a focus on individuality and self-expression. Where the pulse of cosmopolitan charm meets the soul of Colombian culinary artistry, we find Relato. Upon arrival guests were greeted by an atmosphere of refined elegance and impeccable service. From personalized menus featuring the couple’s favorite dishes to bespoke cocktails crafted with precision, every detail was tailored to perfection.
The Couple
Sarah’s family is native to Medellín and her decision to have her wedding in her home country was one of significant importance. This evening was more than a night out with friends and family in anticipation of the wedding, it was the opportunity for her to share her heart with them. It was a chance to honor her roots, celebrate her culture, and express her gratitude to those who had shaped her journey thus far.
