As a CT Wedding Photographer, I strive to constantly capture the essence and nostalgia that is found here in Connecticut. From it’s rocky coast to its rolling verdant hills, Connecticut offers a rich tapestry of landscapes that serve as the perfect backdrop for capturing timeless moments of love and celebration. Each corner of this diverse state holds its own unique charm and beauty. Daly and William captured it perfectly in their coastal celebration at their private home in Westbrook.
The CT Wedding Photographer Approach
Daly and William wanted a very hands off approach to their photography. They wanted their photography to speak to the family and friends around them. Less of us and more of them. So we took a decidedly documentary approach, focusing on the relationships that built them.
Daly said of the approach, “I really loved the way that Jennifer found the chemistry and magic amongst our friends and family. It is so clear that she has an incredible eye not only for the artistic composition of photographs (deftly attuned to lighting and framing) but she equally importantly has an eye for people and how they relate to each other. In the best ways, Jennifer’s presence was warm and encouraging when her direction was needed and completely unobtrusive when our attention was otherwise pulled elsewhere.”
The Aesthetics
Coastal cool was the aesthetic resonance Daly and William wanted to embody. Not too fussy, but in very good taste. They opted for cool blue linens, rattan chargers, and organic florals with an almost foraged appeal. Lanterns hung from the tent while their guests dined, danced, and conversed the night away. For this CT Wedding Photographer, it doesn’t get any more quintessential.
