Connecticut Family Photographer Session | Topsmead State Forest | Litchfield, Connecticut
When you build a home, you have hopes and you have dreams. For a safe place, a quiet place, and a place with good neighbors. We got that and more when we built our home in Watertown, Connecticut eight years ago. More than we asked for and more than we imagined. Every person that surrounds us here brings us joy and adds warmth to the place we call home, and none more than our dear neighbors the Longos right across the street.
Following my photography journey, it was natural for Jen to ask me to photograph her family and capture for them all the love and joy they bring everywhere they go. Every chance we’re together and our kids play, I see flashes of childhood in front of me. And it was nothing but special to capture that in time for Jen and her boys. I know I will treasure these photographs just as much as she, as they are a reminder of the times we had here in our little neighborhood, our little spot, in our little corner of the world.
Here are some of my favorites from our sweet session at Topsmead State Forest in Litchfield Connecticut on a quiet, drizzly, Sunday afternoon.
