Michelle & John | Saybrook Point Inn Wedding | Old Saybrook, Connecticut
There’s a certain independence in love, a statement that I know myself well enough to find myself in another human who sees me too. I‘m so sure in fact, that it’s enough to leave everything that’s made me and venture out to make it on my own. Finding your own way out there in the daring, brave world, with this person by your side. Every moment at Michelle & John’s wedding felt just like that. It felt brave, felt new, felt daring, felt free. That the two of them were going to make a new life together, hand in hand, side by side. Putting everything else behind them, taking each other’s hands, and stepping into the new. Trusting what brought them there and letting it carry them away.
While they fell deeper in love with each other, I fell in love with their classically coastal vision for their Saybrook Point Inn wedding. The gorgeous cranberry touches set to black and white made this wedding absolutely stunning. And the pop of textures in velvet made for a heart stopping romantic edge on this cool, October, wind swept day.
It was my absolute joy capturing your day for you, Michelle and John. I want to do it all over again! Wishing you all the best in years to come and knowing that it’s with each other I’m sure it will be.
