Scrolling through Instagram can be mind numbing at times, click click click and we almost forget to even look. Half the time I’m just getting rid of the badge icon, or the colorful rings at the top of my feed! But on this day, something amazing caught my eye. It stopped me and said, this. Now. Eric Floberg was going to be in NYC. And he was doing a small group creative workshop session on a day and time of our choice. I mean, yeah. I jumped. I immediately grabbed my bestie, paid on Eventbrite, and was signed up within the hour. Two whole hours to pick one of Instagram’s top creatives? Oh yeah. And he delivered!
Not just a great photographer and videographer, but a great teacher. There in a super cool shared studio space in SoHo, he broke down his creative process and how to stay fresh. Over lunch we discussed strategy, technique, and general business advice.
One of the best ideas for your business is to never remain stagnant. You are constantly evolving. This workshop got me out of my normal element and doing something different, learning to lean into what makes me different, how to make the ideas in my head no longer ideas, and being intentional in everything I do. Needless to say we left feeling very… creative. Take a look below at some of the street style goodies I grabbed post-workshop.
Super big shout out to @Eric Floberg for the energy boost. You can find his social media below!
